The Skalar Film GmbH was founded in December 2009 by the young Producer Rike Steyer in Hamburg.

Stories exist like sand on the beach, but as well as you only find pearls in a few shells, those stories are the ones, that have to be told.

Together with a great pool of creative heads we want to realise these plots. No matter which format, because every story chooses it’s own format.
